Music Technology

Someone who comes to KVIN for tech support mentioned that they used to play guitar but stopped – they couldn’t see to tune it due to vision deterioration. Another VI said they wanted to learn to make things – including musical instruments. We needed to extend our music tech skills so we applied to Santander Foundation and were successful. We received a £5,000 Discovery Grant to run a series of music technology tasters and workshops for VIs. We began in Huddersfield and then later ran session in Dewsbury as well.
