Only 17 per cent of people experiencing sight loss are offered emotional support in response to their deteriorating vision. With very little effort, opticians can make a tremendous difference to people experiencing sight loss by referring them to their local sight loss charity. Lets work together so that they are offered help and support, so they can maintain their independence and participation in society.
Wednesday 4th December 2019, drop in between 5pm-8pm
Brian Jackson House, Room LG12, Huddersfield, HD1 5JP
Food and refreshments available.
Kirklees Visual Impairment Network is a sight loss charity run by and for people with Visual Impairment. We enhance the well-being of visually impaired people by providing training on the use of technology and by offering peer support. We are inviting local Opticians to visit us to find out about our work and how we can all work together for the benefit of people with sight loss.
