On 28th October 2020, KVIN held their Annual General Meeting (AGM).
This was a chance to take stock and celebrate the fantastic work of staff and volunteers in 2020 and to share all of our achievements.
We heard from David Quarmby, KVIN chair and Christine Stephen, Sustainability and Development Manager, with a summary of their reports. Both discussed the challenges faced this year and how we have overcome them.
Moin Valli, Vice Chair had the honour of presenting the Trustees Award for outstanding dedication to KVIN which was awarded to Mark Harrison who is a KVIN service user but also signed up as a volunteer this year. He has developed his skills in using his phone, so much so that he has been helping others to develop their skills. Mark really sums up peer support as he is always available on our What’s App group to say Hello and check how everyone is.
We would like to thank all the volunteers and trustees for their contributions in 2020.
Here’s to 2021!
