3. OTHER NEWS
Over November, December and January, we partnered with Match it from One Community Foundation Kirklees. That meant that any money raised for us or donated was matched or doubled by them. We’re pleased to announce that we raised £3361 in the 3 months, so with the Match it donation that doubled to £6722! As a charity, we are reliant on grant funding and donations to keep supporting our members with sight loss so this will go a long way towards that.
Last week, the happy winner of our Easter Hamper was Dolly Brown who was delighted to receive all the treats. Thank you for everyone’s support in helping us raise a further £373 for KVIN.
KVIN is pleased to announce a new service called Sight Loss MOT to help us identify the services, support and training that will help people living with sight loss maintain their independence, wellbeing and choice.
By taking part in the Sight Loss MOT, we will work with you to ensure you can access the information and support you need to maximise your independence, wellbeing and choice. The service is suitable for anyone living in Kirklees who has sight loss or is registered partially sighted or blind. If you’d like to find out more, contact Claire on 07708 054245 or email@example.com.
