The summer is nearly over but we are managing to enjoy a few last days of sunshine. We have booked in 10 further walks for the Walking Group in September, October and November so we hope the weather will stay reasonably fine for all our walkers. There are still places available on most of the walks so please do get in touch with Claire to book your places if you’d like to join.
Over August we had a very busy month preparing for and running our very first Summer Fayre at the Whitfield Centre in Batley. We had a hugely successful day and raised £1300! We would like to thank all our members, volunteers and supporters who got involved on the day or came along to support us bring friends and family.
We will soon have news of a Christmas Coffee Morning to share with you which we are planning from the success of the Summer Fayre.
