On Friday 13th December 2019 from 11am to 2pm we are hosting Michael Mason from Vision Plus who will be demonstrating GiveVision smart glasses.
GiveVision has developed what it calls ‘the next generation of low vision aids’. SightPlus works as an advanced digital magnifier and a pair of binoculars, giving people with low vision the ability to see much more of their surroundings and in greater detail.
The smart glasses are suitable for anyone who is struggling to read and write and see things close up.
If you are interested in finding our more and having a try yourself please come to KVIN offices on the 29th November at 11am. Everyone welcome, no need to book.

Clearer vision at the push of a button
SightPlus – its a wearable low vision aid designed to help you complete many activities of daily life independently.
People diagnosed with low vision due to central vision loss (e.g. AMD, Stargardt’s) and conditions affecting the whole visual field (e.g. albinism, optic neuritis) can benefit from its magnification capabilities.
Generally speaking, if you are currently using tools such as magnifiers or zoom on tablets to read, this device is likely to help you read, watch TV, do DIY and much more.
Clinically validated solution for patients with sight loss: We’ve spent the last 5 years working with UK’s top eye clinicians, charities and academics to develop a device that can restore your independence.
An option, when you feel like you are out of options: SightPlus is not just a Reading Aid – it is a wearable vision aid that is designed to help you stay active and interact with your loved ones.
Would you like to be able to read a bedtime story to your grandchildren? Or help your kids with their homework? SightPlus can help you be there for your family.
